The Urban Muslim Woman Show 14

The 4^th annual Urban Muslim Woman Show organized by Saverah Events was held successfully on Saturday 14^th June at the London Novotel West.
The event witnessed a gathering of 500 British Muslim Women under one roof to celebrate and share their achievements. These included new and established entrepreneurs, professionals, housewives, fashion designers and students.
HRH Princess Basmah bint Saud was the chief guest speaker along with Ifath Nawaz – Vice President of the Association of Muslim Lawyers, Haslina Mohd Ali – the Marketing Director of Sri Munawwarah Designs and Shazia Saleem the new passionate entrepreneur who has started up ‘ieat foods’.
The event also included 11 UK and international fashion houses who displayed the latest summer collection on the UMW catwalk. The participants included Sri Munawwarah, Khimar, Aroush, Asian Designers, Musleena, Bu Now, The Hijab Closet, Fatoni Dontaigne, Nahara, Modestly Vain and An Nisa.
Additional to the panel of speakers and fashion designers, 50 female exhibitors promoted their products and services at the event.
